tesa 61105 is a premium grade sealing tape used in a range of industries, such as the automotive, marine and food and beverage industries. The heavy-duty sealing tape is made up of an EPDM foam backing and an acrylic adhesive. The EPDM foam is resistant to staining, corrosion and electrical conduction. tesa 61105 features a strong resistance against UV light, humidity, weathering and extreme temperatures from -40C to 105C, making it suitable for permanent and outdoor applications. The acrylate adhesive ensures a strong hold to polar surfaces. The EPDM foam backing is non-toxic and flame-proof according to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and is therefore suitable for the automotive industry. The tape is available in six other thicknesses: 1.6mm (tesa 61101), 3.2mm (tesa 61102), 4.8 mm (tesa 61103), 6.4 mm (tesa 61104), 12.7 mm (tesa 61106) and 19 mm (tesa 61107).
