tesa 51966 is a double-coated mounting tape, especially used in the converter industry. tesa 4965 is a thin performance bonding and mounting tape, created especially for highly demanding industrial applications. The mounting tape features exceptional bonding performance on critical surfaces and rough materials. tesa 4965 shows excellent holding power at elevated temperatures and high initial adhesion power. It is used for a broad variety of applications, for example, mounting ABS/PE/PVC parts in the automotive industry. The modified acrylic adhesive offers very good resistance to ageing and humidity as well as excellent resistance to chemicals and softeners. The double sided tape is able to withstand temperatures of up to 200C for short periods of time and has a long-term resistance to temperatures of up to 100C. tesa 4965 is recognised according to UL standard 969. UL file: MH 18055. tesa 4965 fulfils all requirements of DIN EN 45545-2 R1 and HL3, the highest hazard level.

tesa 4104 is ideally used for inner packaging or for sealing cartons, plastic boxes or bags. Alternatively, the tape is suitable for marking or colour-coding, as it is available in numerous striking colours, including black, white, red, orange, yellow, blue, green and transparent. The coloured packaging tape is comprised of a polyvinyl chloride backing and a natural rubber adhesive, offering excellent adhesive properties to multiple different surfaces with high or low polarity. tesa 4104 is also resistant to weathering and chemicals and is flame retardant.

tesa 4917 is a double-sided, transparent tape, frequently used for non-permanent sealing applications such as small reopenable plastic bags. The transparent tape is able to withstand high temperatures of up to 120C, humidity, aging, UV-light, and many chemicals. The acrylic modified adhesive system offers an excellent and fast initial bond to multiple surfaces. The tape is protected by a PP liner. There is a version of the tape available with an extended liner for faster and more convenient liner removal. The polypropylene backing is light and environmentally friendly. tesa 4917 can be cut using hot wire systems of bag machine producers.
