It is used for a broad variety of applications, for example, mounting ABS/PE/PVC parts in the automotive industry. The modified acrylic adhesive offers very good resistance to ageing and humidity as well as excellent resistance to chemicals and softeners. The double sided tape is able to withstand temperatures of up to 200C for short periods of time and has a long-term resistance to temperatures of up to 100C. tesa 4965 is recognised according to UL standard 969.
